Honeymoon in Switzerland Part 2: Wengen

Wengen is a little town in between the mountains. It is incredible. I wish I could have shown the vast mountains better in my pictures. They are so steep and intense. It is very different from the mountains here. The sheer height of the mountains is so incredible, they just shoot up! It's not like here where they gradually get taller and there are valleys around them.

One of my favorite parts of Switzerland was the culture there. The streets are not big enough for cars, they have these really skinny cars. They mostly ride bikes or walk. It is the neatest place. Most of the houses we passed in the street had gardens - and garden gnomes! They still have cows with bells on them so they can hear them when they come.

We stayed at the Beausite Park Hotel. It was a neat little hotel with really interesting food ;) I am not use to eating certain types of foods. We had 5 course meals every night at the hotel, but eventually we decided to eat at this really good Italian restaurant because we just couldn't take the interesting food anymore. Hahaha, for example we had squid with ink sauce, pigeon, and some other really interesting foods.
